Dr. Kathryn Boyle, MS, DVM

Dr. Kathryn Boyle is a veterinarian based in Vancouver, Washington, where she works as an associate vet for Banfield Pet Hospital. She received her Bachelor’s in Chemistry and Biology from Drury University. She got her Masters in Biomedical Science at the University of Missouri in 2003 and earned her DVM at the same university in 2008. Dr. Boyle has special training and experience in ultrasound, laser surgery, and veterinary orthopedic manipulation, as well as clinical pathology.

She is Fear-Free and Low-Stress Handling, and Cat-Friendly certified. In addition, she is a member of the American Association for Industry Veterinarians (AAIV), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA).

She was a recent speaker at the VMX veterinary expo in Orlando, Florida, where she spoke about patient handling, where anesthesia is concerned. She is an expert on this topic and contributed to the fourth edition of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2022.
