
Dr. Jessica Weeks, DVM, DACVECC
Dr. Weeks is a veterinarian at BluePearl Animal Hospital in Brandon, Florida, where she specializes in critical illness and trauma. Her other interests include: transfusion medicine, emergency abdominal surgery, sepsis, and ultrasonography. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the University of Florida in 2014. In 2019, she became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and is RECOVER CPR opens in new tabcertified. Dr. Weeks is a former dolphin trainer and has a background in dolphin and elephant cognitive research. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, ornery cats, and one-eyed dog.
